Light control
Blades rotate through a full arc, so you can shape the light by the hour — raking morning sun, soft afternoon glow, or full blackout with a rebated frame. Split tilt lets the top half open while the bottom stays closed.
Privacy
Tilted just past horizontal, blades block sightlines from the street while still letting light through. Closed fully, a shutter is as private as a wall.
Cleaning
A dry cloth along the blades is all they need. No cords to tangle, no fabric to launder — timber and PVC both wipe clean.
Child safety
No cords, no chains, no loops. Shutters meet Australian child-safety requirements by design, which is why they are our default recommendation for bedrooms and nurseries.
